SHAW CUTS DERBY ODDS NEW YORK, N. Y., May 3.— As Kentucky Derby Day approaches, Tom Shaw shortens his prices against W. R. Coes Ladysman, future book favorite. The colt is now 13 to 5. Head Play is second choice at 6 to 1, while Charley O. and Mr. Khayyam are equal third choices at 7 to 1. The prices against the other probable starters follow: Pomponius, 15; Brokers Tip, 15; Good Advice, 60; Trace Call, 15; Sarada, 10; Kerry Patch, 15; Spicson, 80; Inlander, 50; Stride-away, 60; Fair Rochester. 60; Warren Jr., 50; Isaiah, 50; Silent Shot, 60; Dark Winter, 40; Pompoleon, 50.
