Handicap Stars Display Speed In Trials at Washington Park HOMEWOOD, 111.. June 23.— Walmac Farms Bushwhacker, a candidate for the 0,000 Equipoise Mile, demonstrated his fitness for that Saturday sfeature by working seven furlongs in 1:25?_ at Washington Park this morning. He covered the six furlongs in 1:12%. Two other prominent members of the handicap division at Washington -Park. Hugh S. Nesbitts Copperman and Staretor, also were on the track Wednesday morning, each breezing a mile, the former in 1:45, his stablemate in 1:47%. Coward and DuPuys Marriage, who defeated Alsab in the Washington Park Handicap last year among his numerous outstanding performances, breezed a half mile in :50. He is a candidate for the 0,000 Equipoise Mile, next Saturday and the 0,000 Stars and Stripes Handicap on July 5.
