DANS CHOICE, forwardly placed throughout, responded to strong handling in the stretch and, after shaking off FIRE KABO, held GYPSTER safe. The latter improved his position steadily during the first halt mile, came to the outside for the drive and finished fast. FIRE KABO assumed command early, made the pace to the stretch under presure from DANS CHOICE, but faltered during the drive. QUEENS REWARD raced evenly without mishap. LISTING had a rough trip. NANNY BONES, in close quarters early, failed to recover. PHANATAM had early speed. YALD1NA GREED1 broke fast then dropped back immediately after the start. Scratched— 75335 Hockey. 112. FLYING BRIDGE responded to strong handling during the drive and, disposing of GAY GINO, lasted to withstand GALLANTLY. The latter worked his way forward under occasional urging and was getting to the winner at the finish. GAY GINO assumed command early, made the pace until near the finish then faltered. SHORT STAY could not threaten and had no excuse. HAMMER-LOCK, on the inside throughout, failed to respond when *et down for the drive. DARBY DIPLOMAT beean slowh. HEX could not keep up. NAVY, outrun to the stretch, came to the middle of the tra«k for the drive and, responding to urging, wore down the leaders during the final furlong. ELRAY, well ridden and a keen factor from the start, held a clear lead when settled in the stretch, but tired near the finish, DANSATION, outrun to the final quarter mile, finished fast in a good effort. RED TED had a rough trip. RAMSEY larked early speed. J. J. LYNCH tired. ABLE could not keep up. GRAND GAY displayed good speed to the stretch, then bled. Scratched— 75793 Doctor Jeep, 122. ABOYNE went to the front soon after the start, made the pare to the stretch, then gave way to TOOL-MAKER, but continued gamely to best the otheis. CLANSMAN, shuffled back after the start, worked hit way forward on the inside, but could not improve his position when set down for the drive. KING LEROY lacked early speed. RED DOCK tired after displaying early speed. ROMULUS was done after a half mile. CHAIN MISS was outrun. MOMO FLAG never was prominent. INNATE broke fast but could not keep up thereafter. IMPREGNABLE, never far back and in hand to the stretch, came out slightly for the drive and. responding to urging, disposed of the leaders in the last sixteenth mile. STARGOO, a sharp factor from the start, moved up resolutely when roused and reached the lead between calls, but was unable to hold the winner. MAYBE MISS went to the front early, made the pace to the final furlong under occasional urging, then tired. CANEE failed to respond when hard ridden through the stretch. SKIPPER Z. was outrun.
