: No Suffolk Horse Shortage EAST BOSTON, Mass.. June 6.— Racing secretary Charles J. McLennan arrived at Suffolk Downs on the week-end and will remain throughout the Suffolk Downs meeting except for an occasional overnight trip to Maryland on Preakness business. McLennan reported that applications for approximately 2.500 horses have been received for stabling space, the largest number of requests in the 11 -year history of the track. A maximum ol 1 050 head can be accommodated.
