BRITISH WARM, away in a tangle, went to Hie trout after three-eighths and increased his advantage thereafter without need of urging. SPREAD EAGLE worked his way forwardly. but could not reach the winner, although dead heated with MACKS DREAM tor second. MACKS DREAM, a sharp lactor throughout, finished on equal terms with SPREAD EAGLE for the place. MAROC closed determinedly under urging and dead heated with TINY SIS for fourth. The latter displayed early speed, but tired and just lasted to finish on equal terms with MAROC. LADY BOSWELL quit after lacing prominentlv to the final eighth. AFTER TIME was outrun. LITTLE KEITH gave a good effoit. PAPER CUP finished fast after starting slowly. SIR PENNANT was carried wide by GENERAL DON near the stretch, took the lead when clear, but tired near the finish. GENERAL DON went to the front early, made the paee while bearing out badly and, bothering SIR PENNANT, failed to stay when straightened out. HARRIER ra ed greenlv. CHALLAMORE took command early, drifted out approaching the stretch, then faltered in the late stages. CASTLEMAN went to the inside for the drive and closed well. OGHAM, much used forcing the early pace and carried wide by CHALLAMORE entering the stretch, t led in the drive.
