Fliter Attracting Attention STICKNEY, 111., June 9. —Beginning to attract attention here for his horsemanship is apprentice John Fliter, East Chicago, Ind., reinsman who currently is riding at Hawthorne. To date this year he has handled 44 winners, most of them in Mexico City. He rode five winners last year. Alert at the post, Fliter also can finish on a horse as he has demonstrated here in the last week or so. His engagements are being made by Paul Spizuco.
