Chesney Named to HBPA Post FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 12. — At a meeting of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, Michigan and Ohio Divisions, held at Detroit today, James L. Chesney was elected vice-president and R. J. Farris secretary. The committee for Michigan consists of B. Hernandez chairman; Harry Trotsek, Henry Forrest and Al Wellman. Committee for North Randall consists of H. D. Walker, Stanley Stafford and Charles Briddle and River Downs committee named was A. C. Gillam, W. G. Dunn and Frank Clelland.
