Pascoag Park Meet Opens; Aboyne Goes in Inaugural PASCOAG PARK, Pascoag, R. I., June 14. With a record number of entries submitted to racing secretary Gordon Morrow, full and attractive fields await the large start of trie "43-day summer meeting. The opening program is expected to be run under sunny skies and over a fast track. W. J. Beatties Aboyne heads the field in the ,000 Inaugural Purse, a sprint which drew five other entries. Aboyne, a recent winner at Suffolk, must carry 115 pounds. Under 111, will be Joe Dearys Boonyard and Mrs. M. Gattos Red Dock. Mrs. Anna Matteras Brown Dancer will carry 108 and completing the field are the Del-Jean Stables Dark Morning and Miller and Goldstrums Mor-Lady. The ,000 Pawtucket Handicap is also headed by a Beattie horse, Hidden Ace whose weight will be 118. Phil Paquins Conqueror IH, a popular winner here last season, will take up 116 and others in this route race are J. A. Packers Hurricane Yank, Mrs. J. A. Kourys Miss OLindy, H. Mary Parges Darby Donna. Three sprints of five furlongs and three at six and a half complete the program.
