PARI KING, very slow to settle in best stride, moved up quickly on the final turn, was taken to the outside for the drive and was up in the final few yards. BOSUNETTE, rated closest to the early pace of SCOUTING, took a short lead between calls in the stretch, but could not withstand the winner. SCOUTING opened a long lead, was steadied in front, saved ground and weakened right at the end. SKI DAD finished well after racing forwardly throughout. SURGEON DICK was unable to engage the leaders. IDLE SUN, under restraint early, moved up threateningly on the final turn, but flattened out under pressure. DISSENSION SIR could not keep up. EDITHS IMP bore out all the way. RAY had speed to take command at once, was steadied in front throughout and drew out to win handily. RED ALICE, sluggish early, moved into closer contention on the outside on the turn, continued on the outside through the stretch and finished fast. OLOS STAR had good early speed, saved ground and hung on stoutly. PLUCKY BELL, always a forward factor, finished stoutly. ENSIGN HUNTLEY moved up"stoutly between horses on the turn, but could not threaten. SONNY HAYNES made a stout bid through the stretch, but weakened. MINEOLA MISS, away fastest, had some early speed on the outside, but quit. Overweight Plushie, 2 pounds. 1 Daily Double on the First and Second Races Paid 2.50. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute.
