Fifteen to Carry Hooper Silks at Arlington Park Eight of Group Trained by Ivan Parke Are Juveniles ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 14. One of the stronger stables scheduled for transfer to the fashionable Arlington Park course is that of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Hooper, Florida patrons. The former saddle star, Ivan H. Parke, trains the Hooper establishment and is expected to figure prominently during the season, which gets under way here on next Monday, July 17. Eight two-year-olds are to carry the Hooper silks, while seven three-year-olds are also to be sent to the local oval from Hawthorne. Education, fleet son of Ariel and Faculty and the winner of a division of the Hialeah Juvenile Stakes, and Miss Mood, a fast daughter of Hahmoud and Refine and a visitor to the winners circle during the current Illinois season; are rated best of the Hooper youngsters. Gablestown, another well-conformed colt, has shown decided improvement and he has been liberally-staked in the North Side tracks two-year-old features. Other juveniles from the Hooper Stable, which furnished the 1945 winner of the Kentucky Derby in Hoop Jr., are Sir Blen, Pigeon Blue, Little Bits, a recent victor at Hawthorne; Captain Abbott and Kays Love, who also chalked up a smart accounting at the Cicero plant. Three-year-olds in the Parke-condi-tiofled unit are Flying Pro, Yesnow, Phario, Scholarity, Triumphal, Gallonia, and Bar-val. Yesnow, Phario, and Scholarity are all winners this year and they are expected to be under colors in some of the lesser attractions at Arlington.
