BOSSINEY was within striking distance while going easily early, moved boldly to take command turning for home and drew clear to win easily. MERCURY SUN was forwardly placed throughout and was best of the others. BLUE ASTER, badly outrun early, saved ground while rallying, but was not good enough. LA LA weakened after setting the pace. The latter assumed command after a half mile, drew clear gradually and just failed to last. CASSET raced forwardly placed from the beginning and had no excuse. V DAY rallied only mildly. HY-KERRY, in front early, quit badly once displaced. HIGH PRIORITY showed nothing. SWING SHIFT was never a factor. CHARMING HERO COMMENCED BLEEDING AT THE MOUTH WHILE AWAITING THE START AND WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN WITH ALL MONEY WAGERED BEING REFUNDED.
