Won easily; second and third driving. FOUR DEEP, much the best, opened a clear lead immediately after the break, increased his advantage steadily and was" never threatened. FANNIE MAC raced closest to the winner at all times, was unable to offer serious contention, but held K. BUN safe easily. The latter raced forwardly and evenly, but could not engage the leaders. SAMBO raced well in spots. ONE LINK finished well after being outrun. FLYING BUCK could not keep up. DUZIT was never prominent. Flying Buck claimed by E. Wyatt. K. Bun claimed by C. Williamson. MISS BUSYBEE, away well, lacked speed to race with the early leaders, improved her position steadily, went to the outside for the drive and was drawing away under pressure. AMANIT, steadied within reach of the early leaders, moved up stoutly on the outside on the turn, disposed of AMBER GLOW inside the furlong pole, but could not hold the winner. VIENTO, a trailer early, moved up with a rush between horses in the stretch and finished fast. AMBER GLOW had early speed, took command when INSTRUCTRESS was done, but weakened right at the end. HALF LIT was never dangerous. STAR 0 EAST could not keep up. INSTRUCTRESS opened a clear lead, saved ground, but quit badly. Daily Double on the First and Second Races Paid 3.00. ANNIES REPLY was hustled to wam"1 on lhe outside on tne backstretch, drew clear in the stretch, but was under pressure to hold FORT VANCOUVER safe. The latter improved his positoin steadily, went through on the inside entering the strech and finished stoutly. PLAY HANDS, slowest away, went around the field entering the stretch and finished stoutly on the outside. PASSAGEWAY moved up guickly on the outside on the turn, made a determined bid in the stretch, but weakened. BEN GRAY was never prominent. BOLO TIE quit. RIPAWAY, slow as usual early trailed until entering the stretch, then closed very fast. INCRESCENT, steadied closest to the pace of MISS FLUFF until straight in the backstretch, took command and drew tlear thereafter, then shook off a bid from UNCONDITIONAL to hold ROMULUS safe. The latter was not hurried early while far back, improved his position guickly on the turn and closed gamely on the outside. UNCONDITIONAL moved into closer contention after a half mile, made a stout bid through the stretch and hung on stubbornly. SWEEP SWINGER, far back early as usual, closed a good gap in the final guarter. BAUMBACH, closer up than usual early, was used up trying to get to the front and flattened out. FAVORITE TRAP, rated close to the early pace for a half mile, assumed command thereafter, drew clear in the stretch and held sway under mild pressure. AIR RAIDER had early speed to set the pace, gave way to the winner, but continued stubbornly. HERES HARVEY, very sluggish early while trailing, moved up steadily after a half mile and closed resolutely. BARTS CHANCE was forwardly placed throughout, but was unable to improve his position. HELENS BOY raced evenly and made a stout bid in the stretch, then flattened out. Might Step claimed by Mrs. L. Wolf. Heres Harvey claimed by W. J. Susini. Markability claimed by W. E. Ball.
