ROSEGAY disposed of TIGER MAE rounding the turn, drew clear gradually and won with speed in reserve. SHIFTY MAE had good speed throughout, but was no match for the winner. LOYAL LEGION, slow getting under way, moved between horses entering the stretch and closed full of run. WEJACK failed to rally. LARAN lacked early speed and lugged in while improving his position. ROUGE DRAGON forged to the front with a rush at the start, was perfectly rated while in front throughout and held sway after swerving in front of ELKRIDGE nearing the final fence. ELKRIDGE, unhurried while fencing well, challenged boldly entering the final straightaway, was taken up sharply when the leader swerved and was forced to take the final fence off stride to bobble slightly. BENEKSAR raced evenly while fencing well. RAYLYWN had no mishap. DELHI DAN was outrun. FLOATING ISLES rider lost left stirrup after fourth fence, ran out and was pulled up. FOURTH RACE 5-8 MILE. BULLOW was allowed to settle in stride after breaking alertly, responded to pressure when taken to the outside and wore down the leader to be drawing clear at the-finish. FLYING RAID was hustled into a commanding early lead and held on exceedingly well, but was not good enough. SEND OFF lacked early speed and raced well on the inside when clear. TABOURET had speed in spots. IRENIC rallied too late. SLAM BID faltered gradually when unable to assume command. FALL GUY quit. The latter saved ground throughout and turned in a good effort DAWN ATTACK dropped far out of contention early, raced wider than necessary while rallying and closed with a bold rush.
