DELOVE moved to PINE VISION on the final turn full of run, lugged in badly and bothered the latter through the stretch, then drew out swiftly under hard urging near the end. GYPSY LEA swung wide into the stretch for clear racing and closed willingly. PINE VISION was nicely rated setting the pace, then suffered severe interference from the winner in the drive and weakened. BIG T. 0. made up ground steadily while racing well out in the track. INSIDER was-a keen factor into the stretch, then tired. CRAVACHE was unable to menace after a slow beginning from her outside post position. BOBS BIRTHDAY gave a poor effort. SUN WAVE began alertly and shook free of COLLEGE QUEEN leaving the backstretch, then evenly maintained her margin while being ridden out. SCOTCH SOUR, was closing strongly when forced to circle extremely wide around horses into the stretch, then could not be ridden out while lugging in badly in the final stages. GIL KRIEGEL saved ground while a forward factor and finished evenly. COLLEGE QUEEN could not outsprint the winner and weakened. PANADE could not menace in the drive. SEABRIGHT was away sluggishly and blocked early. TEASE ME NOT was forced to race wide and lacked speed. Overweight— Seabright, 1 pound; Kelora, 2; Jacks Anne, 2. AIR PATROL was hustled along next to the rail to reach the front early, repulsed the challenge from MIDCHANNEL at the half-mile post and drew clear under urging. MIDCHANNEL began alertly and made a bold bid on the final turn, drifted slightly wide and weakened. DAMSON saved ground to pursue the leaders into the stretch, then finished determinedly. FLOOD TOWN was unable to engage the leaders and finished evenly. CREW-CUT was unable to force a passage and had to be taken back repeatedly until inside the stretch, then close"d willingly. DONNA BOORSE had a rough trip. RELATED was hustled in earnest pursuit of TEA DEB after three furlongs, drew on almost even terms with the latter in the early stretch, then continued evenly while drifting slightly wide and was up at the end. TEA DEB easily showed the early speed, was not hard pressed until inside the stretch, then began to draw away from the winner, but faltered suddenly in the closing yards. WENTWORTH began sluggishly and was outrun, then passed tiring horses through the stretch. STEFANELLA began alertly, but tired. ONILRAC was never dangerous. YARLE was outrun. Start good from stall. gate. Won easily; second and third driving. SPARTAN VALOR began swiftest and increased his advantage steadily without need of pressure to win galloping. BLACK VENUS saved ground to quickly move into the runner-up position, was no match for the winner, but evenly held the remainder clear. ROYAL GARDEN was taken in hand to avoid interference at the far turn, moved into closer contention on the final turn, then finished evenly. WILD TIP tired. TOP SPRING was going easily midway of the field when forced extremely wide and practically eliminated at the far tum. PADDYS HAT lacked early speed and was only mildly handled after being bothered by TREDYFFRIN. The latter bolted entering the far turn, interfered with TOP SPRING, ROYAL GARDEN, PADDYS HAT andSHERIDAN SQ.; then again bolted on the final turn. I WILL, allowed, to settle into stride while within easy striking distance, was sent in pursuit of the leaders after three furlongs, wrested command entering the stretch and drew .out while drifting slightly wide. CURTAIN TIME was hard pressed in setting the pace and weakened in the final run. RED DAWN closed with belated courage through the stretch. BOLD JO saved ground while contending for command, but faltered. PICTURE CARD was unprepared for the start, stumbled and almost lost rider, losing all-chance. DANGER AHEAD, fractious in the gate, was hustled into a clear lead early, responded determinedly to punishment in the final furlong and lasted over KING CHICO. The latter saved ground gradually moving to the winner, appeared ready to challenge for command in midstretch, but could not be ridden out while badly lugging in. A claim of foul by the rider on KING CHICO against DANGER AHEAD was not allowed. MISS DOW saved ground and rallied strongly through the stretch. ROYAL HELIO raced well out in the track, then lacked a menacing rally. GRAND BARTER could not stay with the winner early and quit GALLANT G. I. showed nothing. IRON PIGEON was outrun.
