Jockeys Bassett, McRoberts Each Set Down for Five Days GOLDEN GATE FIELDS. Albany, Calif.. May 10. — The Golden Gate Fields board of stewards issued the following rulings Tuesday: "For crossing over too sharply soon after the start of the first race Monday, May 8, while riding Pride of Hygro, jockey Ike Bassett is suspended for five racing days, commencing on Wednesday, May 10. He will be eligible to accept mounts for Tuesday, May 16. "For failing to maintain a straight course during the running of the seventh race on Monday. May 8, while riding Roman In, jockey Robert McRoberts is suspended for five racing days commencing May 11. He will be eligible to accept mounts for Wednesday, May 17."
