BREEDERS CAN GIVE VALUABLE AID. The committee appointed by the Jockey Club stewards to supervise the production ot the ninth volume of the Stud Book will communicate with breeders throughout the country and solicit their co-operation in perfecting the details. The breeders will be asked to carefully scrutinize the eighth volume for any errors that may have crept in and make the necessary corrections to the registry department. A determined effort will be made to bring the new Stud Book up to the mark in every particular. The breeders can render much valuable assistance by checking up the data about their own horses and seeing that it agrees with their records. That they will be ready to assist the committee in every way possible there can be no doubt.
