David Boland. after close pursuit of the pacemaker, moved up on the last turn and was carried wide, but managed to get clear when nearing the finish and swerved over to the Inside and impeded the fast coming Tramotor. The latter was outpaced in the early running, but saved ground on the turn and finished fast. Yo San made the running to the stretch, where she went very wide, s-eriously interfering with David Boland and tired at the end under a bad ride. Tarn OShanter probably found the company too fast and was never able to get to the front. Shady Lad came from a long way back and finished going like a cyclone. E. M.
