DATES FOR MONTREAL SELECTED. Montreal, Quebec, January 18. The Montreal Jockey Club announces September S to 22 as probable dates for its inaugural meeting. If the Jockey Club sanctions these dates, as it doubtless will, the local meeting will precede that at Toronto, conflicting with it one day. The contractors have promised to turn tbe track over to the association not later than August 15.
