POLLOCK BILL IS DEFEATED. By a vote of 18 to 12 the Senate of the Ohio Legislature, at Columbus Thursday, defeated the Pollock Bill legalizing poolselling at the trotting tracks and fair grounds in Ohio. The hill was so framed as to preclude the possibility of holding a running meeting uf any consequence iu the state.
