Spider Web saved ground on the turn into the homestretch and appeared the winner at the eighth post! but tired at the end when it came to a drive. Lady Mala outbroke the others, but did not have enough speed to retain her advantage. Money Maker ran well and finished gamely. Mamie K. closed a gap. Prophetess also made up considerable ground. Onral was outrun by the winner all the way, got away well in motion and saved ground on every turn. Mescal began slowly, but worked her way up on the inside and finished resolutely. Martha C. was interfered with and ran well. Untie Mac finished fast. Sweet Frata showed enrlv speed, but quit badly. Sera tehed fil 02C 1almdale, 107. Rickey was much used in racing Daring Into defeat and, tiring, bad all he could do to stall off Kara. The latter slipped through on the inside on the stretch turn and finished with a rush. Iole slipped through on the inside in the run down the backstretch and opened up a winning lead on the far turn, stalled off a challenge from Brnshton and had enough left to hold Elliott safe. The latter, suddenly recovering speed, was on the outside all the way, finished with a rush and was wearing the winner down at the end. Labor ran a good race, outgamed Brnshton when it came to the final drive and just managed lo get up in the last few strides. Brnshton ran a good three-quarters and tired. Monochord slipped away from his opponents In the early stages and, setting a fast pace, carried Creel wide on the turn for home and, after tiring, came again gamely in the last dozen strides. Tliora Lee was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Bell-the-Cat. The latter finished with a rush and would have been third In another stride. Fonsoluca and Granada tired badly. Florizel was speedy, but lost the race by being taken wide on the turn into the homestretch. Big Bow finished fast ami outgamed Bian when It came to the final drive. Rian ran to his best form. The latter was much the best and should have won, but was interfered with at the start and crowded back and cut oft twice on the backstretch, but came through on the inside at the turn for home and finished with a rush. Heart of Hyacinth ran a good race, but was tiring at the end. Begonia was outrun all the way. America II. showed speed. Glenclare ran a bad race, much below his true fornu
