Lucy Mario, was ouiruu for the first quarter, but wore the leaders down while rounding the far turn and. finishing with a great burst of speed, caught Wing Ting tiring near the end and won going away. Wing Ting; showed the most early speed and set a fast pace, raced Betsy Biuford into defeat in the first three fur longs, but had nothing left when Lucy Marie challenged. Round Dance finished gamely. Betsy BlnforJ bolted to the outside when making the turn into the homestretch. Cadichon ran well, but wa tiring and driving to the limit at the end to stall off Xonsense. The latter raced forwardly nearly throughout and finished gamely. Delmorc was in a pocket on the backstretcli and was messed about, but evidently best over a heavy track. Secret made lip ground steadily. Cobmosa ran a good three-quarters and tired. Martin Doyl raced- forwardly all the way, was saved from the early pace, but gradually worked his way up to thu leaders on the far turn, caught Aleucon tiring in the stretch and was going away at the finish. Aleneou was sieedy, but Hildebrand was overanxious and took too much out of him iu chasing Grace Curtis anil he tired at the end. The Belle, away tangled up, improved her position on the far turn, but tired uudet punishment in the last quarter aud can beat such horses when fit. Grace Curtis ran well to the stretch aud tired. Pepper and Salt raced forwardly throughout aud finished gamely under punishment, but lost some ground by going a bit wide when entering the homestretch. Raclnette was much used In racing Benevolo into defeat and was tiring In the last furlong. Xanbark was outrun all the way. Benevole ran iu much improved form, as also did Llvius. Tho latter was made too much use of in setting the pace and tired after going five furlongs, but hung on gamely. Miss Ilawley tailed off In the stretch rim and ran a bad race.
