MANY OF THE FAIR SEX GO TO WINDSOR. Seven Keenly Contested Races for Them Three Purses Go to Horses Fresh from Latonia. Detroit, Mich., June 25. Tills was Ladies Day at Windsor and quite a number of the fair sex accepted tho clubs invitation. The grandstand as well as the members stand was packed. Altogether it was the largest atteudance of women in the history of the club. There were no stake features on the card, but seven well balanced races furnished keen enjoyment. Three favorites won, the other four races going to horses against which good prices were laid. Three of the winners were horses which had just arrjved from Cincinnati, while a fourth one was a recent arrival from Buffalo. Tills was Booia and her victory came in a two-year-old maiden affair. The tilly won in a common canter. She had speed to spare and all through the stretch was being eased up. Quite a cleau-up was made over her victory. Wexford, whiclivon the opening race, got the decision by the shortest of heads. He appeared to lie out of it at the head of the stretch, but finished with a whirlwind rush, nipping Loupauia at the finish. St. Tammany ran one of his good races in the closing dash. Although last on the backstretch, lie moved up leisurely and won going away. Among the new arrivals today was C. W. Wilson witli Prestige, Bisque, Vestryman, Rain Devils and Arno and George limes witli Neodesba, Sain Clay imd Madehcu. For rough riding on Lemon Girl, jockey Au-biichou was fined 5 and in the same race II. Jackson was taxed 0 for striking Aubuchou with his whip.
