MEETING AT GROSSE P0INTE IMPROBABLE. Cincinnati. O., July 0. Secretary John Hach-nieister of Douglas Park track, left here hurriedly for Detroit today. There is a strong belief here that his trip to Detroit Is for the purpose of a conference with interested persons relative to the possibility of opening up Grosse Pointe in the near future. Detroit, Mich., July Secretary Haclnueister has not put in liis appearance here as yet, but it is hardly probable that lie Is coming here with the Idea of opening Grosse Pointe. District Attorney Hunt has declared within the past two weeks that there will be no racing with betting in Detroit as long as he is in ollice. For that reason the Grand Circuit trotting meeting, scheduled for Grosse Pointe this month was declared off a week ago.
