DANNY MAKER IS REPRIMANDED. Danny Maher, according to cablegrams from London, was unusually vigorous in the use of his whip on St. Faustino in the second race at Newmarket, July 4. The stewards were of the opinion that Maher had unnecessarily flogged the horse and they called him before them lor a reprimand which concluded with the warning that a repetition of the offense would mean the withdrawal of his license as a jockey.
