GUBBINS LEAVES BIG ESTATE. "As shown by his will, which was proved today," says a London cablegram of Wednesday, "John Russell Gubbius of County Limerick, the turfman left a personal estate, exclusive of realty, valued at ?S40,17O. Mr. Gubbins horses won many races, including the Derby, with Galtee More in 1897, and with Ard Patrick in 1002. The former horse was sold to the Russian government for 00,000 and the latter to the German government for about the same amount."
