Heine, away well, ran to his liest form ami, after racing Bliicher into subjection,, came away and won with plenty in reserve. I.ady Charade, shuttled back soon after the start, came with a tremendous rush In the last furlong. Inspector Girl, away In a tangle and far In the rear, ran a surprislnglv ",oOl race and, with a better send-ofr, would have won off by herself. McCutchcn, away forwardlv, raced with the earlv leaders to the stretch turn, where he tired slightly. Blucher set the early pace, hilt tired after going live furlongs. Captor ran a fair race and went wide most of the way. Stillhunt and Dr. Turner were crowded at the start and practically left. Docile, running to her best form and. being clear of interference, dashed into a long lead after going a half and only had to canter during the final furlong. Frivol ran a good race and was a forward contender from the start, staying well in the final drive. Doeskin worked through a rough trip and finished gamelv. Santa Lucia was right there all the way and ran a good race. St. Volma suffered from interference on the first turn and had to close a big gap and, with clear sailing, would have won. Lee Land tired badly after going three-quarters. There was much crowding throughout. Yachting Girl quit after going five fuflongs. Scratched 03571 Morendo, 101. Potter ran to hlii best form and, away in a forward position, dashed Into a long lead at once and, maintaining a fast pace throughout, held the others safe for the entire trip and won well In hand. Mavor Johnson, away well and skillfully handled, ran a fairly good race only. Early Hours began in a tangle, but closed up steadily and finished going fast. Zinda went wide most of the way. Banposal tir-.vl rapidly after going a half. Clyde and Intense had scant chance with the poor start they got, but both ran good races and closed a big gap. Gilpin acted badly at the post and practically ran his race there. Whoa Bill was pulled up on the stretch turn when he bled. Scratched 0357C Queen Caroline, 90; 01437 Oliver, 104. Braden suffered from slight crowding shortly after the start and had to close a big gap, finished gamely, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Mtltlades ran a fairly good race and tired after going a half. Mcllvaln, hard ridden throughout, ran a dull race and can do much better. Envoy found the pace too fast and lagged badly. Major T. J. Webber, well meant today, showed a high order of speed and, assuming a long lead soon after the start, won all the way with plenty in reserve. Ovelando, hard ridden, ran forwardly and, standing a hard drive near the end, gamely stayed well in the final drive. Fair Fagot was gaining steadily near the end and ran a good race. Zipango showed speed In the early stages, but went wide Into the stretch and tired in the final sixteenth. Charley Mitchell, away slowly, ran a dull race. Warner Griswell broke in a tangle and raced into contention after saving much ground when turning Into the stretch, but Hall legan easing him up at the furlong post. He should have been much closer up and probably would have been placed with perseverence. Morales ran a fairly good race. Scratched C27143Senator Warner, 100.
