SANF0RD HORSES GETTING READY. William Hayward, Jr., who succeeded John Hyner as trainer of the stable of Messrs. Stephen and John Sanford, will shortly take his charges from Hurrl-cana r Stud in the Mohawk Valley to Saratoga, where, as in previous years, the season of racing for this stable will he begun. Little of gossip concerning these horses has come from the private training ground, but it appears to be the general understanding that such as have been selected to, race are in condition and only need to have the finishing touches put on for the contests to be asked of them. The two-year-olds in the string number eighteen, ten of them being the sons and daughters of Clifford.
