ECHO OF RECENT YEARLING SALES. The Racing Calendar for July 12 reports an agreement between J. B. Haggin and W. B. Jennings In the following foals of 1905,- which were bred at Mr. Hagglns Rancho del Paso Stud in California: Chestnut filly, by Watercress Cottage Girl. Brown filly, by Watercress Empress of Norfolk. Bay colt, by Watercress Fascination HI. Chestnut colt, by Watercress Sllea. Chestnut colt, by Star Ruby Harmonv II. Bay filly, by Star Ruby Frolicsome II. Bay filly, by Star Ruby Phantasraa. With the exception of the last named, these yearlings passed under the hammer of the auctioneer during the last week in June, at the Sheepshead Bay paddocks and it was the general Impression that they had been sold to other owners. It was reported that Newton Bennington had purchased the first named two for ,100 and ,600, respectively, and that John Mackey had become the purchaser of the others, the Fascination III. colt, for ,500; the Sllea colt, for ,750; the Harmony II. colt, for ,000, and the Frolicsome II. colt, for ,000.
