Wee Las.-?, away fully in motion, showed unitizing speed and opened up a winning lead from the start, increasing her advantage with every stride and only cantered near the end. Mayor Johnson, hard ridden throughout; stood punishment well and ifinished going fast. Principla raced forwardly from the start md ran a good race. Albert Fir was gaining steadily through the last furlong and will improve. Matador was in elose quarters in the final furlong and ran a fairly good race. Ida Davis, awav well, tired alter going a half and can do better. Queen Caroline, away in a tangle, ran poorly. Lightning Conductor ran In Improved form and won al the way without ever being seriously menaced. Beautiful Mayo ran forwardly from the start and, standing a hard drive outgamed King Leoiold in the final strides. The latter ran a good race under poor handling. Froward, tired near the end after early prominence. Edith M. had a rough trip. Helmuth ran a dull race and can do much, better. The Golden Bird, away slowly, ran a fairly good race. Reveille was well up, but the saddle turned on him, forcing his rider to case him up in the final furlong. Cot-tontown, well handled and clear of Interference; was sent Into a long lead from the start and set he pace until he had dlsiwsed of the early contenders in the first three-quarters and won with plenty in reserve. Alma Dufour ran a good, consistent race, but was unequal to the task of conceding the winner so much weight. Colonel Jim Douglas also put up a good performance and stayed well in thefinal drive. Princess Onia ran a good race- throughout, but was tiring near the end. Won easily; second and third driving. Old Honesty ran as if much the best, was away running and taken back until reaching the stretch turn, where he was forced wide, but milled quickly and, assuming the lead when well straightened out for the stretch run, came on nnd won with plenty in reserve. Lens was repeatedly interfered with by Nlcol -while going down the backstrctch; went wide into the stretch and was again interfered with and bumped into in the last furlong. Bud Hill had the most racing luck and saved considerable ground on the stretch turn, finished fast and ran a good race. Delia Thorpe was shuffled back soon after the start and closed a big gap. Harold D., practically left, ran n fine race and was gaining at the end. Senator Warner bolted soon nfter the start and had to be pulled up. Overweights Senator Warner, 2j pounds. Mohave, showing suddenly improved form, was rushed into a long lead at once and held the others safe throughout, winning as his rider pleased. St. Paris, also showing Improved form and hard ridden throughout, finished going gamely. Scotch Dance, shuffled back soon after the start and again suffering from interference on the turn, closed a big gap and outgamed St. Sever in the final strides. St. Sevcc ran a good race and was a prominent contender In the early stages. My Gem had a rough trip and was going well at the end. F. had a rough trip and suffered from much Interference In the first half. Six Shooter broke well In motion and ran well for the- first half, but tired thereafter and seemed to sulk. Rubiuou quit after showing a good flash of speed. St. George Jr. ran a bad race. Overweights Tcmus, 2 imunds.
