DALLAS WANTS A ST. LOUIS GRANDSTAND. i Dallas, Tex., July 1C The directors of the Texas State Fair Association have opened negotiations by wire for the purchase of the steel grandstand at the St. Louis Fair Grounds. If the structure can be purchased It will be taken down at once by Captain L. S. Flateau. of St. Louis, and shipped here bv fust freight. The stand at the fair grounds was demolished by a tornado about thirty days ago and must be replaced before October 13, when the fair and race meeting will be opened.
