ONLY TWO FOR THE TALENT AT FORT ERIE. Buffalo, N. Y.. July 10. Only two favorites managed to catch the eyes of the judges at Fort Erie today. Hyperion II. in the third race was the first winning favorite to gladden the hearts of the talent and Rusk in the sixth was the other one. The fourth race was robbed of some of Its interest by the withdrawal of Blondy and the result proved disastrous to followers of the favorite, for the neglected Reside took the measure of the short priced ones, Jerry Sharp and Boola. OnardI, shipped here from Latonia, ran second in the second race under a poor ride with the fancy price of 30 to 1 against his chances. The horses in training belonging to the estate of William Hendrle will be sold In the paddock at Fort Erie, Thursday next, at noon. The following are the horses to be sold: Light Brigade. Searfell, Blue Grouse, Kings Guinea. Shineon, Chippewa, Glimmer, Partiality and Kelpie. Brand New was bid up 00 over his entered price of 00 after winning the seventh race, but was bought in by his owner.
