Melting was much the best, quickly sprinted away from his opponents and was never in any danger. OuardI ran a sparkling race and, after being almost left, came like a flash In the stretch and would have been troublesome to the winner had he gotten off well. Fire Alarm ran in greatly improved form. Dr. Wentker and Flip had no mishaps. Charley Ward went well. Officer and Mirabel showed early speed, but failed to stay. Edgely raced Fannette into exhaustion and drew away in the last quarter, hut had to do his best to stall off Ilainllcar. The latter was a contender throughout and finished fast. Fannette showed the most early speed, but quit in the last eighth. Raviana was outrun all the way. The Don finished well. Jimmy Malier was pulled Up in the stretch. Orfeo closed a gap. Demurrer ran a good race, made tip much-ground and finished fast. Father Catchcm had no mishaps. Many Thanks had no chance after the start. Tickle ran a bad race and may be training off. Hannibal Bey ran a good race and stayed tin route gauiely. Lemon Girl improved suddenly and finished fast. Rulloba ran an excellent race and will do to reniemler. Comic Opera showed early speed, but quit and can do better. Matabon was practically left. Sharp Boy went well for three-quarters. Marpessa went fairly well.
