Ostrich went to the leaders with a rush while rounding the far turn and easily disposed of Daisy Frost, but tired under punishment in the last sixteenth. Little Woods was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Montebank. The latter flr.ished gamely under a drive. Yazd ran well, but was much used In following the fast pace set by Penrhyn and was tiring at the finish. Penrhyn quit after going six furlongs.
