Zln-j fandel ran as if she outclassed the others and, after racing Gabble into subjection, won as her rider pleased. Gabble was a forward Contender from the start, but tired after going a half and had to be hard ridden to save second place. Miss Officious, away in a tangle and taken wide all the war, finished with a rush and would have been second in a few more strides. Sometime ran a good race, but tired in l he last furlong. Black Mantilla, away well and clear of Interference, raced Mayor Johnson into subjection and came away in the stretch run with ease. Revolt showed improved form and outgamed Elastic in the final drive. The latter ran well, but was badly ridden and the means of fouling Oak Grove repeatedly and caused her defeat. Oak Grove, away in a tangle, would probably have won oft by herself with clear sailing and good handling. Matador lacked speed in the first half and closed a gap In the stretch. Won easily; second and third driving. Orline, away well and running forwardly from the start, wore down Sea Mate In the stretch run and won with plenty in reserve. Sea Mate showed the most early speed, but tired after going three-quarters. Self Reliant closed a big gap steadily and finished fast. Myrrh began slowly and had to overcome a lot of interference, was going well in the stretch, but was not good enough to overhaul the leaders ind was eased up at the end. Merry Belle quit after going live furlongs. Red Coat ran a good race. Anna Day had no mishaps and tired after going a half. Sonuy bled and was eased up after going a quarter. Inglis, after being reserved in the early stages, was called on on the stretch turn and finished gamely and got up in the final strides. Wee Lass showed her customary high speed and tired near the end, but had Preston gone about his business without looking around too often the lilly would have won. Meadowbreeze failed to show much speed and ran u poor raee. Nonie Lucille tired badly after going a half. Chase forced the pace in the early stages, tired badly after going a hair, then came again through the stretcli and finished fast. AVebber tired badly after going a good half. Golden Miueral ran a good race and finished gaining steadily from a poor beginning. The Laurel ran well under bad handling and would have been second with a better rider. My Gem closed a big gap and finished fast. Little James tired badly after going a good half and ran a3 if short. Ternus ran a bad race and can do much better. The Englishman, hard ridden all the way, ran a good race and was going well at the end. Docile began slowly and was taken wide most of the way. Bitter Brown had no mishaps.
