WANT MORE TAXES FROM THE MEADOWS. The officials of the King County Fair Association have been summoned before the board of equalization ai Seattle to show cause why the valuation of the Meadows should not be raised. Tlie board has discovered that the racetrack property is valued on the assessors records at 5,00 or 00 more than last year. The Meadows comprises 93.11 acres, valued by the assessor at about 58 an acre. Land in that section Is reported sold at prices ranging from ,000 to ,000 an acre.
