NO VACANT STALLS AT WINDSOR. Detroit, Mich., August 24. All the available stable room at the Windsor track has been taken. Over 800 horses are quartered there. Seven well-filled races, with fields that are evenly balanced, make up the card for the opening day. The Saratoga recruits are the horses of Green B. Morris, A. C. MeCafferty. Phil Chinn, Dr. Rowell and Charles Bowman, and they are all fit and ready to race. It will be the first time that good horses from the east have come to the Canadian track to measure strides with the northern campaigners. The indications are that the track for the cpeniug day will be heavy. Jockey Cherry arrived here today from Saratoga and will accept mounts during the meeting.
