Won driving; second and third the same Still Alarm, away forwardly and clear of Interference, gained steadily all the way and, standing a knrd drive in the final furlong, got up in the last stride. Helmuth broke running and showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired unexpectedly In the final drive. Deeklaw was a forward contender all the way, but tired near the end. Sister Huffman ran a good race and showed improvement. Bon Vivant had no mishaps. Ruskinettn was iu close quarters through the stretch. Dr. Frank closed a big gap and finished fast. Gamester, much the best, was a forward contender from the start and assumed the lead on the stretch turn, but was weakly handled and succumbed in the closing stride. Magic, favored by a good ride and away in a good position, ran well throughout and is worth remembering. Belleview closed a big gap and ran a good race iiernle Cramer wns a good horse today, but had scant chance with a poor rider. Osteriuan was right there all the way. Floral Artist, poorly handled, was taken back before reaching the first turn and caught in n jam, which disposed of his chances. Subador tired after being a prominent factor most of the way. St. Volma performed impressively, fenced well and but for going lame might have won. Profitable ran a bad race and was outpaced all the way. Weii-d showed early speed, but quit badly after going one round of the field. War- Chief fell at the last field jump. He was away fully in motion, showed; fine speed and was a forward contender for the first five furlongs, stood a hard drive gamely and outsfayal Lightburn. The latter was speedy, ran a good race and hung on resolutely in the final drive. Sallle B. B. got away poorly, but closed a big gap and ran a winning race. Bitter Hand was right there all the way una going fast at the end. Elude went wide most of the yay and ran fairly well, ltlpple Mark ran a good race for him. Heine quit badly. Savolr Kalre, much the best, was given a bad ride and kept far back In the earlv stages and was going fast in the stretch, but Griffith almost fell off when he attempted to ride a whipplng finish. Docile was n sharp factor when he was bumped into and this practically disposed of his chances. Athena closed a big g:P and finished fast, is worth remembering and will make good on a muddy track.
