THREE YEARLINGS DIE OF PNEUMONIA. Two yearlings by Cesarion, which were sold by auction in the Sheepshead Bay paddocks during the first week in September, died at Lexington last week. They contracted pneumonia en route from New York. One was the colt out of Marie" Stoops, for which Fletcher Driver paid 2,500, and the other was the filly out of Espionage, for which Charles Hughes paid 1,500. Mrs. J. P. Chlnn also lost by pneumonia, contracted in shipment, the filly by The Friar out of Oyezpa. She, however, had the youngster insured for 1,500.
