Princess Marie forced the early pace, raced Boserrian Into subjection in the first half "and came away in the stretch with ease, winning in a canter. Boserrian ran a good race and tired after a speedy effort for the first half. Quardl was close up in the early stages and gained steadily through the stretch, finishing gamely. La Thorpe saved much ground throughout and ran a good race. Callta came from a loug way back in the stretch run, but tired slightly near the finish. In golth riff, running to his best form and away in a forward position, forced the early pace and, standing a hard drive through the stretch, outlasted Airship. The latter showed the most early speed and tired unexpectedly in the final drive when called on for a hard effort. Ida Davis .ran forvyahlly and finished well under poor guidance. Dorasette ran an extra good race for her, but was favored by good racing luck. . Kasy Street, .also ..poorly handled, can dp piuch better. Malleable had a rough trip and ran a govl race, i Preston, .on Miss Anxious, was caught napping at the post and She was left standing. Scratched G4G40 Falkland, 104; 04470 Lidwina, 109. Slgmund blundered at several obstacles and tired badly in tho last round of the field. Gould, also poorly handled, was never a serious contender. .Solon can do much better and was given the easiest kind of a ride. Dell Leath and St. Volma fell at the fourth jump. Golden Mineral, running to his best form and skillfully handled, followed the leaders close up for the first three-quarters and, slipping through a uarr,ow opening next to the inner rail, saved much ground and out-gamed Inspector Girl in the final drive. Inspector Girl was clear of interference all the way, ran to her best form and, with better handling, would have won. Precious Stone was a close contender mos: of, the way and stood a drive well. Bralt tired after closing a gap. Dudley tired In the final quarter. Quick-rich can do much better under a stronger rider. Stroud ran a bad race. Scratched 64719 Mae Lynch, 90; 04C79 The Mate, 104.
