SHEEPSHEAD BAY RACING STATISTICS. During the thirteen days of the Coney Island Jockey Clubs autumn meeting, opening at Sheeps-head Bay September 1, and closing September 1.", eighty-two races, seven of which were steeplechases, were decided, carrying a distribution of 90,005 in stakes and purses to 107 winning owners.
