r d y a ■- d r to o TICKET DUPLICATORS AT WORK. New Orleans, La., January 15. — Ticket duplicators have been at work at City Park for several days s and they have been getting away with the money y in small amounts. The I. X. L. book, which is un-t " derstood to have the backing of Charles Cella, was victimized out of $.i00 after Minnie Adams won the fourth race today. Fred Cook held the genuine ticket calling for that wager, but before he presented it the swindlers had passed in the counterfeit and had been paid. When Cooks ticket was presented the dup-i- lication was discovered. He was paid also. Num-i- hers corresponding with those on the genuine ticket had simply been pasted on an old ticket. The cash ier was inattentive, otherwise he would have de-e tec ted the counterfeit.
