FOALS AT MILLSTREAM STUD. Lexington, Ky., June 22. The foaling season has closed at the Millstreani Stud and there arc thirteen sucklings now at Oakwood Farm owned by Andrew Miller and his partners. Pond Lily, British Blue Blood, Zcalaudia dam of Waterboy, Musette and Merry Jest all have colts by Handspring, while Flirtiueer has a filly by the same sire. The other youngsters are: Bay colt, by Sanders Disadvantage. Bay colt, by Ben Brush Candle. Bay colt, by Woolstliorpe Cereta. Bay colt, by Kingston Nadavis. Chestnut filly, by Star Dixon Purity. Chestnut filly, by Africander Shaft. Chestnut filly, by Allan-a-Dale Twitter. The yearlings of the farm will go east about the first of July. They arc ten in number, six colts and four fillies. The pick of the collection is a bay colt by Watercress, out of Shaft. Shaft is a young mare by The Pepper and is a half-ister to Leouidas. Among the other youngsters are a brother to Broadcloth, a half-brother to Merry Lark, a half-sister to Dollie Dollars, a sister to Jim Kelly, a half-sister to the Lady in Blue and a brother to Golden Maxim. The pick of the collection will bo trained by Tom Walsh, though they may have to go through the sale ring during the summer to settle up the breeding interest held In them by F. C. Bishop, that member of the Jockey Club being for the present out of racing. Jockey Sandy says Montgomery is the ganiest horse he ever rode and he has asked for future mounts on the son of Pessara.
