KEENES YEARLINGS TO BE BROKEN. Will Be Shipped to New York This Week-Young Buys Out His Partners. Lexington, Ky., July 20. With the exception of Fleming and Chulita, W. J. Young owns all the horses now in his racing stable. Mr. Young has bought out all of his partners In the other horses. Chulita, winner of the Cincinnati Trophy, is owned by A. S. Labold and Mr. Young is only interested in the winnings of the daughter of Kingston. The same conditions exist as to Fleming, which good three-year-old is owned by Gus Eastin, of Ben Holladay and Kiniey Mack fame. Mr. Young has done well since lie deserted the trotters for the runners, and says he will race only his own horses the coming season. Among the yearlings at Castleton Stud, owned by James R. Keene, which will be shipped east next week to be broken and trained under the supervision of James Rowe, there are many that are close relations to the cracks that have carried the colors of Mr. Keene. Peter Pan has a half-sister and Court Dress a half-brother in the collection. There is a sister to Gretna Green, a half-brother to Lambent, a sister to Conroy, a brother to Wild Mint, a half-brother to Pope Joan, and a brother to Hurst Park; a half-sister to Whitechapel, a brother to Dolly Spanker, a half-brother to Superman, a half-sister to Frontenac, a sister to Veil, a sister to Masque and a half-sister to Delagoa, Zambesi and Knroki. The only yearling by the dead Commando, sire of Peter Pan, Colin and Superman, is a chestnut colt out of Running Stream by Domino. Commando was bred to but four mares in iy0iC"""One of these, Fealty, was later bred to Voter and she has a colt now at Castleton which is of double parentage. Calico by Hampton foaled a bay filly which died and Ben My Cree, dam of the Americau bred English Oaks winner, Cap and Bells, had. a brown colt that did not live to registration age. Clem Pearce has taken up twenty yearlings at Hamburg Place and has begun breaking them. The youngsters are by John E Maddens .stallions, including Yankee, Plaudit, Ogden and Galore. David Gideons great mare. The Butterflies, the first filly winner of the Futurity, was bred this season to Star Shoot, and will remain at Raccland Stud until the warm Aveather is over. The daughter of Sir Dixon was barren last season, after having been mated with Little Saint.
