The latter finished gamely under punishment, was wearing Trackless down and would have been second in another stride. Jaclnta ran well. Dunbeath is a perfect jumper and held his opponents safe until after taking the twelfth jump, when he faltered and pulled up very lame. Caloorhatchee was outrun all the way. Dr. Heard bolted out of the course at the twelfth jump. Slalkor fell at the second and Paprika at the first. Willis Green was under the whip all of the last quarter, finished fast and made a game effort. Granada was a good horse today and was running unextended when one of the bandages on his hind legs became loosened and it interfered with him so much that he quit. Bequest ran well. Eleanor Fay was sbullled back after going a onarter, hut met with no mishaps afterwards and ran a good race. Old Acquaintance bled and was pulled up. Emma G. quit badly under the whip. Euripides ran well, but was carried wide on the turn into the homestretch, where he lost ground. Canopian was in a pocket most of the way and was repeatedly cut off and interfered with.
