NOTES OF THE TURF. W. J. Young has arrived at Lexington from Saratoga with hte horses. George Bose owns and controls fifty-live per cent, of the stock in Ascot Park. The horses recently purchased by E. E. Smatbers and trained by W. O. Joolin will race under the name of the Hollywood Stable. Doctor Wang, the five-year-old son of Ingoldsbv Miss Alice II., in the stable of Hughes Brothers, at Lexington, Ky., has been gelded. Joseph A. Slurphy, it is announced, will be the presiding steward at the Ontario Jockey Clubs autumn .meeting at Toronto, September 14 to 21. Chapultepec has earned the reputation of being an unruly customer at the barrier and there were no improvements In his conduct at the start of the Futurity. W. P. Slagrane has decided to sell the horses he has been racing at Seattle. The stable of the late J. b. Wood is also to be sold before the close of the Seattle meeting. Bar None, which finished second to Colin in the luturity, is a handsome, ilashy looking horse very mucli the type of his sire, the 0,000 Nasturtium, jiml 011, his appearance would attract attention anywhere. -
