VERDICT AGAINST EDWARD C0RRIGAN. Louisville. Ky., December IS. A verdict for 50 damages was returned by a jury in Judge Gordons court in favor of the plaintiff in the case of Mary Hunter against Edward Corrigau. the turfman. The plaintiff was suing for ,000 for the loss of the , services of her son, whom she contended was an ; exercise boy in the defendants employ. The defendant claimed that he had not employed the boy nor had any one in his service been authorized to engage him. It was averred that a stable hand had. without any authority from Ids employer, put the boy on the colt. 1 .
