The first disqualification of the meeting took place today when Warner Uriswell was set back in the fifth race for fouling Nattie Bumppo when opimsite the last sixteenth post. The latter was making his final effort when the interference occurred, but for which he would probably have secured second place. Judge Hamilton called jockey Shilling, who rode Warner tiriswell. into the stand and, after a severe reprimand, fined him 90. riiil Chinn broke his long stretch of ill-luck today when Lady Inua won an impressive victory in the second race, simply cantering from a fair band of fillies.
