For the Champion Stakes, 1,000 sovereigns, at one mile and a quarter, to he run October 12, 1909. August Belmont and James R. Keene have seven of the forty-two nominations. Mr. Belmont names Fair Play, Prlsclllian and Norman III., and Mr. Keene the Su- t burban winner. Ballot, the unbeaten Colin, Helmet. Esperanto and Wedding Bells. At the Craven meeting In 1010. in the-ilftyMirst Biennial Stakes, of 1 000 sovereigns. Mr. TJelmont has named Doncourt. nud Mr. Keene the brown colt "by Disguise Biturica and the chestnut colt by Voter Noonday. In the Midsummer Stakes, of 500 sovereigns. Mr. Belmont iias Doncourt and Mr. Keene the black filly by Dis- uise Swiftfoot and the black cot by Disguise Emma C, while Harry Payne Whitney has nominated the chestnut colt by Broomstick Sallie Navarre and the lay colt by Hamburg Blue Girl and New Oastle.
