Dainty Belle, always the runuer-up, stood a sharp last eighth drive gamely and was best of the others. Tamar broke slowly and had to go to the outside when entering the stretch and stood the last sixteenth drive resolutely. Aunt Polly showed speed, but tired. Albion H., while in a contending position next to the rail just after passing the far turn, was badly cnt off, being completely thrown out of the race. Elizabeth F. ran poorly. Nebraska Lass closed a A-o and tired only in the closing strides. Bold went far wide when turning for home. Bennles Busy JP;y nearly caused a general mixup after passing the far turn by stumbling almost to his knees. The winder was entered for 00; no bid. Warner Griswell set a sharp pace to the turn, where he was temporarily outrun by Joe Covne. then rallied and finished gamely, but at the final eighth post crossed Nattle Bumppo, for which he was disqualified, the latter getting second place and Cork Hill being placed third. Nattie Bumppo, in a . long stretch drive, finished fast. Cork Hill ran well, but fell away fast near the end. Joe Coyne ran I good mile and tired.
