THE TROTTERS TAKE POSSESSION. Memphis. Tenn.. May 24. — Montgomery Park, for I liirtv years and more the scene of many of the ereatest running races in the country, was formally dedicated as a race track for trotters and paerrs :his afternoon when a special meeting for ainaleur drivers was given. The Tri-State Fair, which BOW controls the park, has rt sotted and regraded the old track, Ed leers and other famous trainers now here I pronounce it as fast as any track in the country.
